Native American Lakota Sioux Quiver and Arrows
Description: Native American Lakota Sioux Indian beaded arrow quiver with two arrows. Quiver with brain tanned buffalo hide with beaded edges top and bottom with parfleche fringe. Cut slats that once had quill work. Contains two arrows. One with a steel trade point (not of the period), and one without. Beadstrip to and bottom, circa 1870, a later addition but of the same period. Ex. Birmingham Museum of Art and deaccession in 1996 by director Corley. Would make a great addition to a handmade indigenous collection, or would display nicely on the walls of a Southwestern style rustic home, cabin, or lodge. Circa 1870. Size: 21" x 6" Family Owned & Operated Cisco’s Gallery deals in the rare, exceptional, and one-of-a-kind pieces that define the history of America and the Old West. Our pieces range from American Indian to Cowboy Western and include original items of everyday life, commerce, art, and warfare that tamed America’s frontier. Our 14,000 square foot gallery opened in 1996 in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
