Colt Powder Flask for the 49 Pocket Model - Excellent Condition

Here is a very rare, patriotic pocket powder flask for the Colt '49' Pocket Model. This is a very high-condition powder flask. The seams are in perfect condition. It has 95% plus original lacquer remaining. 
The band appears to have at least 95% of the original gold gilt. The spout unscrews easily and it has around 55% of the gold gilt on it. The original beveled spring still has fire blue on it and the gate works exactly as it should. The measurements are around 2 inches at the widest and a little over 4 3/8th inches tall. It has two miniscule handling marks that are hardly discernible with the eye but I did my best to pick up with the camera. 
This is a rare and wonderful example of a Colt Pocket Powder Flask ready to drop in your case or to act as a stand alone.
