Here is a text book in every way Boyle and Gamble Confederate Staff and Field officers sword just missing it's brass scabbard tip that could be replaced . Blade has some light etch that is just to hard to photograph . Boyle and gamble etched the sword blade very lightly and often from use hard to see but some present. Nice leather grip with all leather complete and complete single stran copper wire wrap . Non stop fuller. Great untouched southern reddish brass patina . Nice sword
