T.C.". It is about mint. $ 495.00 - SOLD ! B. Model "M 1 Bayonet - w/Shorter Blade w/the fuller of 5.75 Inches & began 3 inches back. This one is by AFH w/the flamimg bomb & "US" on the R-side and blank on the Left.It has the black plastic grips. It is in a pre-used condition and abt 80% w/a nice blade edge.. The scabbard is fiberglass & in good condition. $ 125.00 C. Model 1905E1, Later Bayonet,M1 - "SOLD" These type bayonets were the M1905 Types 1 & 2 that were cut down to 10 inches by cutting off the tips. These to me were the most interesting as there existed in certain War theaters a shortage of the shorter bayonets. This particular one is in very decent shape for its age & all original to it's modification. The blade is in excellent condition w/a fuller to the tip. It's a "PAL w/Flaming Bomb & U - S w/a date of 1942". The scabbard is a fiberglass & fits the blade very well. It is in good condition. Sold -- D. USM4 By Utica & M8A1 Scabbard w/Leather String This Bayonet USM4 is by Utica is one of the supplier's of these later war period Bayonets. This modification wasn't implemented until abt May of 1944 but apparantly plenty of the front line troops received them. I suspect that the Brigade Armourer's had something to do w/this implementation. It has the correct leather handle, locking style catch & upper guard. It has the unsharpened olive toned parkerized blade. It is in excellent condition. The matching scabbard is marked 'USM8 by BMCO" w/the correct fiberglass scabbard & leather string. $ 265.00 E. Model 1905 Bayonet - Type 1 (Modified) This particular M1905 bayonet has "R.I.A. / Flaming Bmb/1906. It has been modifies at the grip. The blade is in excellent condition and was cut down to 10 inches w/a nice edge. The wood handle is in very nice shape. I suspect that this modicication was for a ceremonial guard duty of some kind. The scabbard is a cloth covered metal w/a leather tip & fits the blade very well. $ 75.00 Price: POR Contact Seller |
