Krieger Chrome Moly .223 Barrel with only 270 Rounds in our record book, fired years ago. Bore and Chamber are perfect. 6.5 Twist is for Heavy (80 – 90 grain) .223 Match Bullets. Remington 700 Threads (also, same as Model 7). It will stabilize lighter projectiles as well. Length is just over 30 Inches Long (30-1/8) with Medium-Light Palma (fairly straight) Contour; Weight = 4 lbs./13 oz; Target 11-degree Crown; Muzzle Turned 0.750 for sight base. This is my Barrel, ordered new from Krieger, for a project that got side-tracked years ago – not a swap-meet or take-off item. Chamber is stamped “223 REM” and “CHESEBRO RIFLES” - Contoured and Chambered by Mark Chesebro Rifles, our splendid master gunsmith in Tehachapi, CA – using the JGS Live-Pilot Match Reamer shown in the photo.
