Manufactured by Wilson Arms of Brunswick, Georgia, using components from the Egyptian "Port Said" submachine gun, a licensed copy of the famous Swedish M/45 "Swedish K" submachine gun. Homegrown in Sweden late in World War II, the M/45 took lessons from the other "tube gun" SMGs of the day, adding some refinements without losing sight of reliability and speed of production. This example is outfitted for use with a silencer (see Item B), with the barrel ported to vent gas into the expansion chamber before the bullet clears the muzzle. 3-leaf notch rear sight, with the Wilson markings on the left side of the receiver, Farsi/Arabic markings on the left near the trigger, "PORT-SAID 9mm MADE IN EGYPT" on the right, smooth grip panels, and a side folding stock with a rubber cover on the comb. Included with the lot is a brown leather sling, brown leather magazine pouch, sixteen extra 36-round stick magazines and three Finnish 50-round stick magazines.
Very good overall as refinished, with mild wear and handling marks. The stock and grips show minor scuffs, and the hinge is a bit loose. Mechanically excellent.
