FULL-AUTO Ithaca M3A1 "Grease Gun" w/ Sionics Suppressed Barrel, +2 GI Barrels, 4 Mags

Description:
Pictured is an Ithaca Gun Company M3A1 submachinegun, commonly referred to as a "grease gun", with an attached Sionics 45 branded silencer. 

The Ithaca Gun Company’s first involvement with the U.S. M3 submachine gun was when they were awarded the contract to manufacture spare bolt assemblies in 1953. In the early 1950s during the Korean Conflict, the Ithaca Gun Company was contracted through the Rochester, New York Ordnance District to fabricate 70,000 new M3A1 submachine guns. The Ithaca manufactured M3A1s were nearly identical to the original Guide Lamp models (M3A1), but the receiver markings were different and the parts were all coded ITG for Ithaca manufacture. The diamond-shaped "checkering" pattern impressed on the pistol grip of the Ithaca M3A1 also differs slightly from that of the Guide Lamp guns. This gun has the ITG markings on the dust cover, trigger guard, and receiver.

The serial number on this submachine gun is 743XXX. The Ithaca M3A1 serial number range began approximately where the World War II Guide Lamp M3A1 serial numbers had ended and ranged from 721330 to 754556 making this specimen a mid –production MG. Ithaca’s contract was canceled after 33,227 of the weapons were manufactured.

SIONICS (acronym for Studies In the Operational Negation of Insurgents and Counter-Subversion) was an American company that was founded in the 1960’s to  produce  firearm suppressors for the military (initially, primarily M16’s). The Sionics 45 suppressor is set up to work by combining the internal baffles and added wipes to produce the greatest level of suppression in a .45 ACP.

This rifle has been designated as a Post-86 Dealer sample. These guns can only be purchased by SOT dealers, manufacturers, military, and police agencies. Normally, for a dealer to make the purchase they must have a Law Letter from law enforcement. For this transaction, a law letter is not needed due to the Post 86 Sample being in possession of a dealer that is going out of business and will no longer carry their license, so the gun can be sold to a dealer without a law letter.  
Post Sample gun Form 3’s are clearly marked with a stamp that says “Restricted” on the approved ATF form 3.

We, in certain cases, at our discretion, may agree to allow an item to be put on layaway. Layaways must be agreed to prior to purchase. Our layaway policy is 1/2 of the final total as down payment with 60 days to pay the balance. Cancellation results in a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price.

Shipping
We ship firearms via UPS and USPS. They must be sent to an FFL. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If you'd like a shipping estimate, please contact us through the and provide, at the very least, a ZIP code as to where the item would be sent.

• If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card.
• If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal.
• The exception is, obviously, serialized items.

Legal Policy
We can only ship items to areas in which they are legal. If you live in a more restrictive area, please check your local laws before or buying. We are, for the most part, willing to ship to the 50 states as long as it's legal. We may require proof of legality before proceeding with a transaction that is exempt from a normal law.

Serialized items must be transferred through an FFL. We do accept C&R's on any applicable items. You may have to pay your FFL a fee, which is not covered by this transaction. You are responsible to know and follow all laws (including shipping) in purchasing such items in your state.
NFA Information
Some items are regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA). This includes, but is not limited to, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and suppressors. Please check with your local and state municipalities for any further regulatory requirements. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure they comply with all NFA rules and applicable laws. Such items MUST be transferred to a Class 3 FFL via a Form 3, and then transferred to you via a Form 4 from your local Class 3 dealer. The process of getting a Form 3 approved by the BATFE takes on average 6-8 weeks. Your patience is appreciated.
