Please do not confuse these with any latter-day junk product of the same name! These were THE world's best binoculars during their reign and can still hold their own or surpass most anything sold today despite ridiculously higher prices. They are of exceptional quality.
These binoculars have seen little use, and remain in excellent condition with smooth and proper function throughout. Even the center focus wheel is as smooth as silk which can be problematic on some of these models due to a hardening of grease over time.
The glass is free of any scratches and the optical quality is completely bright and clear during use. If sighted through backward, one can see a very slight "gas" type sheen just inside the outer objective, but again is not visible when sighted through normally. To understand the true value of these B&L Zephyrs, one has only to compare them to what you could buy for my listed price in a modern pair...trust me there is absolutely no comparison.
