Original U.S. WWII M1907 Pattern Milsco 1943 Leather Sling with Brass Hardware for M1 Garand
Description: Got a WWII WW2 USGI Original U.S. WWII M1907 Pattern Milsco 43 Leather Sling. Standard issue 1907 pattern sling used on the 1903 Springfield rifle and the M1 Garand Rifle made famous as the standard rifle of the U.S. military from WW2 to just before Vietnam. M1907 WWII Leather Sling marked and dated MILSCO 1943. The Standard U.S. service rifle Sling at the time of the adoption of the M1917 "Enfield" rifle was the M1907 leather sling used with the M1903 Springfield. The M1907 Sling was adopted for use with the M1 Garand rifle in 1936. The M1907 Sling was used throughout WWII with the "M1" rifle. The adjustment hooks and hardware on early M1907 Slings were made of brass, while the later WWII examples had steel hardware. (THIS SLING HAS BRASS HARDWARE) . The M1907 Sling was also utilized with the Winchester M1897 Trench Gun during WWI and on all WWII Winchester, Stevens, Ithaca, etc trench guns and riot guns equipped with slings. This is USGI and as you can see in the pictures. I have no idea whatever those letters and numbers mean. My military "Stuff" and "Wartime" gear knowledge is "zilch" and am using the estate where this came from as the authority. NOTE: Look close at the pictures as the item you see is the one you get. We have hundreds more World War II (WWII) and military firearms components we will be listing so please keep checking our other listings. This came from the estate of one of 5 (five) FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store. The particular estate was an avid collector of Garands and components. This is from the collection or was inventory. There will be countless other listings from this inventory over the next 4 to 5 years. We are selling for the each of the estate/stores. This is NOT a liquidation. There are no lists and will be no lists. Please check our other listings for more items Please also check our Webpage and or Facebook page at P&T Partners Shipping is $10.00 for Priority Mail Personal checks accepted, we do not hold until clear for parts. Postal Money orders also accepted, Credit card by PHONE only and there is 3.5% for use of the credit card. SOLD |
