The gun is tight on face and field ready. The wood is very beautiful but could if wanted benefit from a new oil finish and restoration of the checkering.

Hammerless Sidelocks - This gun is a true Edwardian gun dating from the dusk of 1905. With Best quality throughout it is hard to find fault with the dimensions, quality of engraving and barrels. The gun is tight on face and field ready. The wood is very beautiful but could if wanted benefit from a new oil finish and restoration of the checkering.
Some, as in myself in certain circumstances, prefer to use and enjoy the gun with the earned patina of time and use.
If one would like to have us restore the wood and checkering I am very pleased to say we can now offer that service with the addition of very talented Jason Bartel to our restoration department.
This wood restoration we can now do for an additional price of $1000.00.
