US Remington Model of 1917
Description:
US Remington rifle Model of 1917 in excellent condition.
Original finish, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on wood, good bore, functions fine.
Majority of Model of 1917 rifles had been rebuid and have rebuilt or arsenal mark on the left side of the stock.
This rifle has no rebuild mark on the stock as can be seen in the 4th picture. I did not take rifle apart but bolt, stock, front and rear sights are R marked.
A rifle in 90% condition was sold on icollector for $2,000 plus over $400 in premiums, please see last picture. My rifle has 93-94% bluing and is more reasonably priced.
I'm a private collector and I'm currently thinning out my collection.
3-5 months layaway is available. For layaway payments please use only personal checks or Zelle as they are much easier to keep track of. If either of those options don't work for you, we can try to work out another option for payments.
