WW2 Walther PP Pistol with R.F.V. Stamp (Reich's Finance Administration)
** Scarce Nazi Pistol! **
Description: This early high-polish (pre-1940) Walther PP .32 ACP pistol is unique and scarce in that it was assigned to the Nazi Party's financial arm called the ReichsFinanzVerwaltung. The R.F.V. was responsible for many things within the Nazi party but primarily dealt with the Party's finances, the banks of Nazi Germany, and the Customs and Border Services. Anyone that was part of the R.F.V. that needed a weapon to display rank or for actual use was issued one, and these weapons were typically stamped with "R.F.V." and usually the weapon number for that office/district. This particular Walther PP is stamped "R.F.V. 4028 W." on the front grip strap (typical location for a pistol of this type). This pistol is all-original and retains 85% of the original factory blue finish. The bore in this pistol does have a small problem; while the rifling is strong and it is free from any pitting, there is a very small bulge in the barrel 3/4" of an inch from the chamber. This bulge is hidden by the slide and should not affect the function of this pistol at all. The original grips on this PP are in great shape overall. They are structurally sound and show very little wear and no warping. They are also nice and tight to the metal with no wiggle. All of the controls on this PP work 100% like the day this pistol left the factory. The slide works smoothly by hand and is tight to the frame, and the trigger and decocker/safety are nice and crisp. It comes with one original and proper factory 8-round magazine with the early Walther banner only marking. It is not often that we come across these Nazi R.F.V. marked weapons that haven't been messed with or "improved" by some collector.
