Colt New Army Model 1903 Commerical DA Revolver 38 Long Colt

Description:
SN 243792 This is a wonderfully preserved Colt New Army Model 1903 Commercial DA revolver chambered in 38 Long Colt. Barrel is 6" with an excellent, bright strong bore. Metal surfaces retain about 97 to perhaps 98% original bright Colt blue finish with the only loss noted at the muzzle and leading edges of the cylinder. Backstrap is lightly flaking/starting to turn to brown and the cylinder has a light dragline. The trigger and spine of the hammer retain vibrant fire blue with the sides highly polished. Grips are checkered hard rubber Rampant colt. Bottom of the left grip panel has a crack in place. Grips are scratch-numbered to different revolvers but fit perfectly. A superb example manufactured in 1905. FFL or C&R
